Camp is less than 60 days away and everyone is counting the days to Vega 2015!  A huge part of the camp experience is building community and making friends.  Many new campers took another step towards making Vega their summer home at the annual First Year Camper Get Together this past Sunday, April 26th.

Over 35 new campers and their parents met with Kyle and Emily Courtiss (Directors), Debbie Green (Head Counselor), Melanie Green (Group Leader), and Anthony Pyatt (Operations Director) in New York.  The parents had an information session with Kyle, Anthony and Melanie, while Debbie and Emily played games with the girls, taught some Vega songs, introduced the story of Varna – and of course her tooth fairy treat, and answered many great questions from the girls.

The energy in the room was buzzing with enthusiasm for the summer, and everyone left knowing more about what to expect from this exciting new experience – CAMP VEGA!
