Back in The Groove

Summer Camp Vega Visiting DayIt was a great Visiting Weekend, from the weather to the kids to the guests!  We had pretty low expectations for the ominous forecasts, which made the perfect weather Friday and the refreshingly cool and overcast Saturday weather that much more enjoyable.  Tamary parents: we will miss you and are sorry that we did not get a chance to say goodbye to all of you!

The girls got back into activities yesterday and especially enjoyed some time in the bunks as well where they were able to try and finish their visiting day treats.  After the parents left, the girls evening activities ranged from gold rush to counselor hunt to the spectacular bunkle beauty.  As always, dressing up bunkles for a beauty pageant is surely an easy way to move on from saying good-bye at the end of the day.  The counselor hunt and gold rush were Olympic Events, and the White Team did make a small comeback in the counselor hunt.

This morning the girls are tubing and this afternoon’s Olympic event is the noodle hunt and a waterfront afternoon.  Meanwhile, the seniors and super seniors are getting ready for their trips to Bar Harbor and Attitash/Sunday River.  We’ll keep you posted!
