Meet the Fine Arts Staff

Natalia Witkowska – Department Head

I’m Natalia and I live in Poznan, Poland. I am super excited to have been given the role of Department Head of Fine Arts again. This is my 6th summer at Vega and I couldn’t be any happier to be back in Lily Bay and Cadillac. I have graduated from university with Ethics and Aesthetics major and I recently defended my masters in Philosophy with a concentration in Social Communication.

Back home I work in a Musical Theater where I am in charge of licenses and I am a manager for artists. When I’m not planning new premieres at work I am visiting galleries or creating jewelry and stained glass art. Another passion of mine is traveling but my favorite journey is always during camp. I can’t wait to see all the familiar faces as well as new ones. Yeah Vega 2019!

Hi everybody! I’m Ellie and I could not be more excited to be spending my 2nd summer working in fine arts at Vega! I’m from England and I’m currently in my final year of university studying Childhood Studies, with the hope to pursue further study to become a Occupational Therapist working with children with disabilities. When I’m not studying you’ll find me drawing, crafting and making jewelry. I love developing my skills and love for art and hope to transfer everything I know to the campers. I can’t wait to see you all again!

Hello! My name is Eiméar Denning and I’m from Ireland🍀 This year will be my 2nd year working at Vega and I’ll be working in the Arts and Crafts Department. I’m in my 3rd year of a Media Studies and Spanish degree in Maynooth University. I’m super creative and love working with paints, clay and glitter. I loved every single second of the summer last year and I’m looking forward to doing it all over again!  I can’t wait to see you all!🌟

Hi my name is Antonio! this is going to be my fourth summer at vega and i’m super excited to be part of the arts and crafts team one more time. I was a student for graphic design back in mexico focused only on illustration and getting to teach the girls some of that makes me very happy. i’m looking forward to see the returning campers and staff this summer.

Hello! My name is Cenna and I am one of the art counselors! I am receiving a degree in Fine Arts and a emphasis in Graphic Design. I attend a University in St. Louis and work on many different art projects on a daily basis. One of my favorite things to do is make pottery in the ceramics studio. If I am not in the ceramics studio I am usually collaborating with friends as we paint and draw together. I am looking forward to meeting you all and having fun through creativity!

Check back soon for more 2019 staff!
