Sophie Masters:

Hey! I’m Sophie and I’m from Bristol, England! I love anything food related and love creating fun new products (especially sweet treats!) I also love anything outdoorsy! I’m currently a food science and nutrition student and a baker at home, and I can’t wait to spend my first summer at Vega, getting stuck into everything camp has to offer!

Eva Jeffery:

Hi everyone! My name is Eva Jeffery and I’ll be in equestrian. I am from England, near the Lake District. Back at home I do horse riding, archery, study and read (a lot). This is my first year at Vega and I’m excited to meet new friends (people and horses) and share my enthusiasm for riding with those just starting out.

Samara Roberts:

Kia ora koutou (hello to you all) I’m samara and I’m from Christchurch, New Zealand. I love animals and i’ll be part of the equestrian team this summer and I’m so excited to join the Vega team for my second summer. I can’t wait to see you all again and meet so many amazing new people 🙂

Jázmin Kovacs:

My name is Jázmin, I’m definitely happiest when I’m outdoors. I love hiking and pushing myself physically – I’ve climbed Mount Olympus twice already, and each time reminded me how important teamwork and a good sense of humor can be when things get challenging! I also love swimming, spending time at the barn with horses, and being around animals in general. I have dogs at home, and some of my favorite moments are simply long walks with them or quiet time reading after a busy day. I genuinely enjoy connecting with people, especially children.

Alexa Cadena:

Hello! My name is Alexa Cadena, I’m gonna be Equestrian Counselor at the camp.

I’m from Mexico. I’m a dentistry student currently in my second semester. It’s my first year working in a camp and the truth is that I’m getting more and more excited about the experience. I hope to make many friends and incredible memories 🙂

Laura Colburn:

Guess who’s back (back back), back again (again again), Laura’s back (back back), tell a friend! Hi there, my name is Laura Colburn and I am one of the horseback riding instructors at Camp Vega this summer. I am from Minnesota. I enjoy riding and singing. This will be my fifth year teaching at Vega, and I can’t wait to get campers in the saddle. Chin up, heels down, and ride on!

Eva Rodriguez:

Hi everyone! My name is Eva, and I’m so excited to join Camp Vega this summer as a Figure Skating Assistant Coach and Fine Arts Instructor. I’m from Madrid, Spain, where I’m a high-performance figure skater and studying to be a teacher. This is my first year at camp, and I can’t wait for it to start! I’m really looking forward to meeting all the campers, sharing my love for skating , and having an amazing summer full of fun, growth, and unforgettable memories together!

Marta Bordons:

Hi everyone! My name is Marta and I’m from Granada, Spain. This will be my first year working at Camp Vega and I’m super excited about it! I will be working in Arts and Crafts.At home, I love reading, watching series, and listening to tons of music. I can’t wait for summer to enjoy nature and activities as a counselor with the girls and my camp mates, and to live this unique and unforgettable experience!

Holly Oldroyd:

Hey, I’m Holly, I’m going to be an Arts and Crafts Councillor this year at camp! I’m from the UK, currently living in a small town called Aylesbury, not too far away from London. At home I’m currently working in retail full time, but at camp I am wanting to rediscover my passion for all things art and design, by putting my Graphic Design and Illustration university degree to good use! This will be my first year working at Camp Vega, as-well as my first time ever visiting America! (Exciting!!) At camp I am looking forward to meeting lots of new people, forming lots of new friendships and having the opportunity to pass on my love for arts and crafts to the younger generation!

Sophie Vanderveer:

Hiiii, I’m Sophie and I am from Sydney, Australia! I absolutely love anything outdoors such as hiking, camping, snorkeling but I also love a chill afternoon of arts and crafts, reading and colouring. I am so excited to join Camp Vega for my first summer as a General Camp Councillor! I can’t wait to experience everything at camp and see what America has to offer!!

Ella Simpson:

Hey all, My name is  Ella Simpson  and I’m from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 and this will be my second year at Camp Vega returning as a  general counsellor. I can’t wait to return to my favourite place for another epic summer  and see everyone and meet some new faces along the way! Yeyy Vega 2026 💚🥳

Olivia Lewis:

Heyy, my name is Olivia and I will be a general counsellor at Camp Vega! I am from England, near Cambridge. At home I am currently studying to become a children’s nurse, and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. This year will be my first year at camp, and I can’t wait to make friends and have an unforgettable summer!!

Imogen Harding:

Hey, I’m Imogen Harding, and I’m an 18-year-old from Queensland, Australia. Growing up, I’ve always loved being active, especially with gymnastics, and pilates. My go-to food is definitely sushi or anything Asian! Ever since watching “The Parent Trap,” I’ve dreamed of doing Camp America, and being a twin myself has only made me want to do it even more.

Colleen Walker:

Hi! I’m Colleen from Glasgow Scotland and I’ll be a General Counsellor. This is my first summer at Camp Vega, and I’m so excited to meet everyone and help create amazing memories that will last a lifetime!

Mia Deschenes:

Heyyy everyone, my name is Mia, and I’m from Scotland! This will be my first year at Vega, and I’m going to be a general counsellor and gymnastics coach. I love dancing, cheerleading and gymnastics, and I’m so excited to share that love with you all and meet lots of new people! Bring on Vega ’26!

Eleanor Hoogland:

hiiii my name is Eleanor Hoogland but i go as Ellie, and i am going to be a gymnastics counsellor this summer. I am from Perth, Western Australia and at home i work as a cheerleading coach! This will be my first summer at Camp Vega and i am most excited to share my love for gymnastics and cheer with lots of new faces!!

Sofia Mandujano:

Holaaaa Vega, my name is Sofía Mandujano and I’m from Guadalajara, Mexico. This would be my second summer in Vega as a Volleyball coach. I’m super excited to come back and see you all again. Vega 2026 woooo!

Erin Speirs:

My name is Erin Speirs and I am so so excited to be coming back to Vega for my second summer!! I am a Landsports counsellor and my main sport is field hockey. I am from Edinburgh in Scotland and I am a third year psychology student at the University of Aberdeen. Last summer was my first summer at Vega and I truly had the time of my life! I am really looking forward to getting back to bunk life and swimming in Echo Lake, but I am most looking forward to seeing the girls again because I have really missed them, and I cannot wait to come back and make so many more memories!!

Tahlia Goodall:

Hiiii I’m Tahlia and this will be my 3rd year at Vega! I’m from Melbourne Australia and I’m so excited to be spending another summer with everyone. Bring on Vega 26 Wooo 💚

Mario Aguilar:

Hi! My name is Mario and I am a Land Sports Counselor at camp. I’m from Madrid, Spain, and at home I study Digital Business in college. This is my first year working at Camp Vega, and I’m very excited to be part of the team this summer. I’m really looking forward to meeting the campers, playing lots of sports, and helping create great memories for everyone. I can’t wait for a great summer at camp!

Yijie Xing:

Hello everyone! I’m Yijie, a second-year graduate student from Northeast Normal University of China. I’m an outgoing girl with an optimistic mindset. I always greet life with a smile, stay positive even in challenges, and maintain a healthy lifestyle with no bad habits—so I’m full of energy to engage with kids! I also have other outdoor hobbies, like swimming, snowboarding, hiking, cycling and so on. Coming to this camp means a precious chance for me to step out of my comfort zone, meet new people and feel the local culture, and gain hands-on experiences that I can never get from textbooks. I’m eager to communicate with people in different background and kid or teenagers in camp activities and play with them. I’m looking forward to this amazing journey!

Ellie Solomon:

My name is Ellie Solomon and I am going to be a landsports counselor this summer. I am from New Jersey but I am currently a student at Washington University in St. Louis studying biology and public health on the pre-med track. In my free time I love working out and playing sports including soccer, basketball and softball. This will be my first summer as staff at Vega but I was a camper for 6 summers. I’m looking forward to making more lasting memories back at my summer home!

Maya Cadena:

Hi! My name is Maya Cadena, and I’m an Outdoor Adventure Instructor and Counselor at Camp Vega this summer. I’m originally from Mexico, and I’m currently a full-time college student, in my second semester. This will be my first summer working at Camp Vega, and I’m beyond excited for this new adventure. I’m really looking forward to experiencing a new culture, having an amazing time with the kids, creating meaningful connections, and making unforgettable memories together. I can’t wait for everything this summer has in store!

Caewen:

Hi, I’m Caewen from China! 🧗‍♀️ I’m so excited to be joining the Camp Vega team as a Rope Counselor this summer!!! I’ve always loved the outdoors and pushing limits—whether it’s climbing higher on the ropes course or helping campers find the courage to take that next step. I can’t wait to laugh, cheer, and make some unforgettable memories with you all! This is my first time at Camp Vega, and I’m absolutely thrilled and over the moon to finally meet all of you in person. I’ve been counting down the days, and I can already tell this summer is going to be something truly special. Let’s make this summer totally unforgettable!!!💚

hiiiii! My name is Summer and I am from England. This is my first summer at camp vega. I am super excited to be able to work with everyone and have the best summer!!!My role this summer is high ropes. I’m so excited to be able to meet everyone and create so many memories.I love adventures and spending time with friends. I’m glad I have the opportunity to start this journey with camp vega!

Anya Mitten:

My Name is Anya and I’m going to be a second year returner to the ropes department. I’m from the UK, near Manchester. I’m a first year graduate, i enjoy cooking, spending time with my friends and being outside. This will be my second year at Vega! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again, campers and counselors alike and being back with people who make me laugh, feel good and like myself.

Manuela Geraissati:

Hi! My name is Manuela, and I will be helping with the Tennis program as an assistant coach. I am from Brazil but I am currently living in Tennessee. I like going to the gym, playing tennis and spending time with my family and friends. This will be my first summer at Vega and I am looking forward to living a new experience and learning new things. I’m excited for a new journey.

Gustavo Cardoso:

My name is Gustavo Cardoso, and I am a tennis coach at Camp Vega. I am originally from Brazil. When I’m at home, I enjoy teaching tennis, playing video games, spending time with my friends, and making the most of every moment there. This year will be my first time working at Camp Vega, and I’m really excited to get started. I see Camp Vega as a great opportunity to develop my coaching skills in the United States, meet people from all over the world, and enjoy meaningful experiences working with children at camp.

Amelia Grossman:

Hi Hi! My name is Amelia, and I’m from the best city ever—Chicago! I’m beyond excited to be back in Maine for an amazing summer at Vega as a counselor and theatre set designer. When I’m not juggling my senior year of high school or working as a lifeguard, you can usually find me playing video games, doing musical theatre, listening to music, or hanging out with my cats. Before heading off to college to study psychology, I’ll be taking a gap year in Tokyo—where I’ve spent the past two summers living and learning! This will be my first summer as a Vega counselor, but I was a Vega camper when I was 7, so coming back feels extra special. I can’t wait to meet everyone and make this the best summer ever together! David Manterola:

My name is David Manterola! I’m theater staff and show director.

I’m from Guadalajara, México.I’m an actor and a filmmaker.  I’ve worked at camp in the summer of 2023 and 2024. What I most look forward to this summer is getting to see all the campers and the whole Vega family again, and do my part so that everyone gets to have the best summer ever.

Laura Melendo:

Hi!!! My name is Laura, I’m from Spain and I’m so excited to be joining Camp Vega this summer!!! I’ll be working in the Theater Department focusing on vocal performance, which makes me extra happy because music is a huge part of my life! I can’t wait to meet everyone, create amazing memories together, enjoy camp traditions, and share lots of music, laughter, and fun. See you very soon!!!

Kate Honey:

Kia ora! I’m Kate from Wellington, New Zealand, and I’m so excited for my first year at Camp Vega! I’ll be joining the Theatre Department as a choreographer this summer, which is perfect because I absolutely love all things performing arts. I can’t wait to create, collaborate, and bring some amazing shows to life with you all 🙂

Sara Menendez:

Hi everyone! My name is Sara, l’m from Spain, and I’m a medical student back home. I’m super excited to be returning to Vega this summer for my 2nd year (I was previously there in 2022) to work at Small Crafts. I am most looking forward to seeing the girls again, catching up with old friends, and meeting all the new staff. Get ready for an incredible summer 2026!

Izzy Still:

Jasmine Lawry:

My name is Jasmine Lawry, I am from Victoria, Australia. I will be a lifeguard and swim instructor at Vega for my first year in 2026. At home I love being outdoors and spending time with friends and family. I am most looking forward to meeting everyone and having an amazing summer!

Hey Vega! I’m Sam from Guadalajara, Mexico. I’m in my seventh semester of Psychology, and this year I’m coming back as part of the Swim Department. I’m really excited to see everyone again and create more experiences together!

Georgia Ellis:

Hi Vega, my name is Georgia Ellis and I will be in the swim department. I am from Nottingham, England. At home I am currently at university! Lots of hard work, but also a lot of fun. I do lots of sports and lots of outdoor activities as well as working part time as a lifeguard! This is my first year at Vega and I am looking forward to spending a summer in the American heat and experiencing an American summer, as well as making so many great memories and friends along the way! Really looking forward to the travelling after as well.

Betsy Wolfenden:

Hey, my name is Betsy Wolfenden-Smith. I’m from North Yorkshire in England. I finished sixthform last year and have been working to save up money to travel ever since. This will be my first year at Vega and I’m super excited. I am mostly looking forward to meeting everyone, learning new hobbies and being able to work outdoors in the gorgeous scenery by the lake.

Jazmin Nuño:

Hey Vega!!! My name’s Jazmín, I’m from Guadalajara, Mexico and this will be my second year at Vega!  I’m so excited to be back after 4 years and see all the girls again. This year I’ll also be a lifeguard. I seriously can’t wait to be back at Echo Lake with everyone ✨
