With the end of camp nearing and some unusually dreary days lately, we’ve made sure that the fun continues no matter what!

Yesterday was our traditional “non-uniform” day, where campers and staff alike got the chance to dress however they want. While Vega does stress the importance of a uniform look, this special day gives everyone a chance to have fun with their outfits.

Another thing the campers look forward to is the Olympic Banquet and Sing, where the camp finds out which team has won the Vega Olympics. After the dinner, everyone heads to Sunset Circle and sings the all camp songs that Tamary has worked on all summer and then the announcement was made. (Drum roll please…..) and the Green Team won The Vega Olympics!!! Congratulations Green and way to go White!

Amidst all the packing of the trunks and saying good-bye, we still have the final counselor show to look forward to and one last Sunset Circle. Though the end is near, we always remind ourselves…”it’s goodnight and not goodbye.”
