Parents can spend quite a bit of time preparing for their child’s overnight summer camp experience.  Providing all of the necessary information, ordering and packing the clothes and supplies from the packing list, and confirming logistics for travel to and from camp can seem (to put it lightly for some) challenging.  Those efforts are being rewarded.

Camp, although it has barely begun, is off to a great start and the girls are having so much fun!  

Summer camp persists because both parents and kids can find new levels of quality of life, growth, and accomplishments.  Children at camp, and even the parents at home, have so many opportunities to create and experience indescribable growth – especially when there are challenges.  Camp is just like life, it cannot be perfect at all times. Yet with enough support, the campers can overcome so much and in turn come away with even more from the time they spend away from the comforts of home.  

Time is the most precious thing we have.  The girls at camp cherish it more and more as they grow older.  The staff are so excited and dedicated to helping the children at Vega appreciate every moment, because there will never be another like it.
